Come and join us to learn how to make medicinal Herbal extractions using water and fresh or dried herbs.The most common water extract is a cup/pot of tea but are you making potent medicine or just a nice flavoured drink?We will be primarily covering making medicinal tea... though we will also be discussing flower essences, essential oils, hydrosols, percolating/decocting/infusing your herbs.
Taste test a variety of different preparations and become more confident making medicine in your own kitchen.
All experience levels welcome from beginners to practitioners. Come and learn how to make an array of herbal medicine preparations for your home, apothecary or dispensary.

This is the first workshop in the Herbal Medicine Making Series.Book in for one workshop, or all three. They are run on 3 consecutive Wednesdays, from 10am-3pm.
🌿 19th Aug- Water extractions
🌿 26th Aug- Oils extractions and salves
🌿 2nd Sept - Alcohol extractions (tinctures)
Each workshop with be a sensory dynamic exploration. You will get to taste, smell and touch many examples of each preparation. There will be multiple demonstrations in each workshop as well as options to be involved with the demonstrations. The infused oil and tincture making workshop is more hands on and the water extracts workshop is more demonstration.
These workshops favour working with fresh vital potent herbal medicine from your garden/the wild/community garden etc. There is so much medicine growing all around us!
$60 each or book in all three for $180 total.

All workshops will be held at my home in The Pocket, NNSW.
Spaces are limited and bookings are essential.
